How to get a better experience out of your Kindle Fire

Posted on Sunday 13th October 2013 at 14:28 PM — by ConnorSephton

The Kindle Fire is a great piece of kit, but there are some quirks to it – like with many other tablets – that most of us can do without. This article is going to look at how you can get more out of your Kindle Fire.

First up, remember that you can alternate between browsing a mobile-optimized site and the standard desktop version if you wish. In order to do this, go to Browser Settings and toggle between Desktop and Mobile modes. If browsing on the move, going for simplified versions of sites will keep your data charges down.

A downside of Kindle Fires can be the limited storage space that you are provided with. Remember that this can be circumvented if you choose to use Amazon Cloud for storing your music. It is available from anywhere, and you receive 5GB for free with the purchase of your Kindle Fire. If you have quite an extensive collection, you can add as many gigabytes as you wish in $20 increments.
